First off, we’re down to just four available SPC Subscription Spaces for November! Can you believe 2025 is almost here? Neither can we! Black Friday is Around the Corner – Time to Start Planning!

With the holidays approaching, one of the most exciting (and busiest) shopping events of the year is just weeks away. Black Friday is your chance to boost sales, connect with new customers, and showcase your value. But before diving into sale mode, here's an important tip: focus on value first.

During these high-pressure sales seasons, it’s easy to get caught up in pushing products or offering deep discounts. However, to truly stand out and succeed, especially in the long run, it’s about being customer-centric. Your audience wants to feel understood, supported, and valued. Think about what’s stressing them out right now and how you can help alleviate that stress. The best brands don’t just sell—they listen, connect, and solve problems.

Better Marketing: Focus on Value and Building Trust

When planning your Black Friday strategy (or any marketing effort), it’s important to remember that trust is everything. Customers want to know that you're not just out to make a sale but that you genuinely care about helping them. By consistently offering value without expecting anything in return, you’ll build a loyal community that trusts you year-round, not just during sale seasons.

One brand that really gets this concept is IKEA. Their marketing strategy goes beyond just selling furniture. IKEA listens to its customers, responds to their needs, and creates solutions that meet them where they are. It’s not just about offering stylish or affordable furniture; it’s about showing customers they are heard and valued. This focus on real human connection is why IKEA has such a strong, loyal community. If you want to learn more about how IKEA masters customer-centric marketing, check out the full blog post we’ve linked!

Here are a couple of questions to guide your next marketing move:

- What’s stressing my audience out right now? How can I show them I care about their problems as much as they do?

- What convenience does my client want to see? How can I provide them with that?

If you approach every interaction with your customers with these questions in mind, you’ll build relationships that are based on trust and value—leading to long-term success.

Instagram’s New Views Metric – What You Need to Know

In more exciting news for all the social media managers and content creators out there, Instagram has recently launched a new metric called Views. This new feature is designed to give you even deeper insights into the content you're creating and how it resonates with your audience.

The "Views" metric shows you exactly how many people are engaging with your posts. It's an excellent tool to help you assess the success of each piece of content you share. Whether it’s a video, photo, or carousel post, you can now see which type of content is connecting with your followers the most.

So, how should you use this new metric? Simple: study the numbers to guide your strategy. Every metric Instagram provides is a powerful tool in understanding what works and what doesn’t. Are your posts driving engagement? Are people spending more time watching your videos? These insights will allow you to adjust your content to better serve your audience and, ultimately, meet your business goals.

Fall Projects, Weddings, and Adventures!

Fall isn’t just about work, though. It’s also the perfect time for personal projects, weddings, and adventures! We wanted to take a moment to share what some of our team members have been up to recently:

Rach's Fall Project:

I’ve always loved painting, especially large-scale abstract pieces, and recently, I’ve started working on two new paintings for my living room. Initially, I wanted to complete these pieces before my daughter Hollyn arrived, but life had other plans. Now that I feel more inspired than ever, this feels like the perfect Fall project. I can’t wait to show you the final result—stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes photos of my inspiration and progress!

Nikki's Adventure in Kenya:

Meanwhile, Nikki has been living her best life on an incredible trip to Kenya. She’s been having an amazing time exploring the culture, food, and wildlife. According to her, the people are beyond welcoming, the food is phenomenal, and the animals—well, you can only imagine the awe-inspiring wildlife she’s seen!

Fall Weddings:

In other news, Britt, Taeva, and Sierra are all heading off to a wedding together this month. Is there anything more beautiful than an October wedding? Crisp air, autumn leaves, and love in the air—pure magic!

October is shaping up to be an exciting month filled with opportunities, creativity, and new insights. Whether you're snagging one of the last SPC Subscription Spaces, planning for Black Friday, or diving into Instagram’s new metrics, remember to lead with value and stay connected to your audience.
