Hashtags - What you NEED to know!

This is a short but JAM PACKED post today we are talking about #HASHTAGS.
There are non-stop debates on the use of hashtags but we wanted to share a tip that has been really taking our clients and our posts to the next level!
Let’s just get right into it.
Switch up your hashtags - This has been SUPER successful for us. Using the same hashtags every post can cause your posts to be picked up as spam. So a great way to make sure that you are not in this situation is to switch up your hashtags regularly. An easy way to do this is to make multiple groups of hashtags. If you post 3 times a week make 3 groups, 4 times make 4 groups etc.
Use hashtags outside of your realm of expertise - This requires a little forethought but is SO worth it. Think of all the potential clients you have that work in other fields. For instance, we help companies in all sorts of industries. From beauty to financial to real estate to medical, this means that our hashtags need to work to reach potential clients in all of those industries and more. We take the time to correlate the proper post with the proper hashtags to create the most effective means of marketing!
Use location hashtags - This is an awesome way to reach out to clients in different cities. Change the location reach in each of your posts by using popular location hashtags. Examples of this could be #yyc #calgary #yycliving and more. Take some time to research what some effective location hashtags would be and see the growth!
