There’s no getting around it.
We have had many clients who thought that because they weren’t able to maintain their current subscription that it was best to cancel all social media management entirely.
We really want to emphasize that the progress made on your account can easily be lost when you stop all communication on social media. This can force you to start again at zero 😓 and is much more difficult than maintaining some consistency of posts or engagement.
Even if this means that you need to drop to an Engagement Only Package option (or reach out and ask us if there’s another option of how we can help you but stay within a budget) it is always better to remain consistent than to give up entirely. 💕
Once you have an audience that is regularly reading your information and engaging with your posts, to suddenly stop posting and engaging gives the impression that your business is no longer in operation. 😨This can be extremely confusing to your current customers and potential new customers.
We have seen this to be especially true when it comes to referrals. When someone is referring a friend or family member to a company more often than not that person will check out the business's social media for sales, validity, and location information. If the last post they see was posted 2, 6, or 9 months ago it can give the impression that the business has closed down.
Again this is why we ALWAYS suggest some sort of consistency on your account.
